Welcome Back to the Hill

I think it's been a whole month since we made the trek upward, but we're back on track now.  Lynn and I challenged the snow to keep us away, and we won. Well, you can hardly call it snow, it was a powdering, though we did find lumpy ice beneath the snow in some spots so we tread carefully. (or is it "trod carefully?"  I'm sure it's not "treaded"...if anyone knows, please comment. I'd rather be corrected than use bad grammer!)

I have new photos! The neighborhood sign above, season 2; we've already seen it in Fall with cabbage flowers all around. And here's Lynn at the bottom of another piece of the hill we recently discovered. At the top of the stairs are three possible paths all disappearing into the distant woods. We've ventured along two now so far, one more to try. I really should have photographed them in the snow, they're quite lovely. There we were in the woods with no end in sight, hard to believe that Kenmore Square was all of a mile away, let alone Brigham Circle just a few feet away.

Is anyone out there reading this blog? I'd love it if you'd leave comments or become followers. Howard told me that followers get notifications when an entry has been made. Is that right Harriet? My one and only trusty follower! I hadn't known that. Stats tell me you're out there reading, so lemme know. Bye now.
