Now for something entirely different.....

I didn't invite the group this week, I thought it would be too hot to walk...(and I forgot to send out the email :(  so sorry)

But I did walk around Fresh Pond in Cambridge with Betsy this evening. That's a gorgeous walk. There's a golf course and a little pond full of lily pads and playful dogs. It's 2.5 miles around—got that info from a runner so it must be true. Betsy and I caught up on everything: colleges, prom dates, kids growing up too fast....meal plans for the 4th of July weekend in NH, challenging sleeping arrangements.... oh, now I've got your attention ;)  

We had quite the block party yesterday. Our street was closed off all day. We started with a huge yard sale and ended with a neighborhood barbeque. It was the perfect day weather-wise and fun-wise. And we all made a little cash to boot.
