Another Sunny Sunday
Isn't that the name of a song.......I've probably used that title before. With all our complaints about weather—this winter not withstanding—we do get a lot of lovely sunshine around here. And talk about mild winters, yesterday, that's right, February 4, we went out with just sweaters on; no fleeces or jackets necessary. I know this may have negative ramifications in the bigger picture, but me, I'm just lovin' that sunshine. I don't ski or skate so who needs winter anyway?! The snow is quite beautiful for all of 15 minutes til the city turns it black. But I digress, there's no snow today!
Lynn and I took a nice walk in the opposite direction this time—down Muddy River and through the Fens all the way to the MFA. The foliage isn't so great this time of year so here's a photo I took in a different season, but not too different.
Baby talk, of course, college talk, some unmentionable talk. And the requisite football talk, of course. It is afterall Superbowl Sunday, go Pats! I'm going to my very first Superbowl party tonight. And my brother-in-law went to the game. On a whim. Apparently he flew out to Indianapolis hoping to find someone with tix to sell. He succeeded and there he is...Go Mark!
Well I didn't manage to write last week, sorry. Have a great this week. Enjoy the game tonight and the parade in a few days—of course.
'next time...
