This title is approximately his and that's about as far as my memory goes. Sorry, they would have enriched these humble pages.
What a gorgeous day! At least it was before the walk, and then again after. The sun was shining brightly, only to disappear and then reappear after we all returned home. Just as well, I'd forgotten my sunglasses. At least now we can see the sun through our windows. Of course my windows could use a nice cleaning but we won't go there. They were actually cleaned once—in 2001—and were filthy again 15 minutes later. Not a good enough pay-off for all the labor required. Not that I attempted it myself; those poor guys, broke my heart to watch them working so hard!
So back to the walk, I am about to attempt something new: a video upload!
Ta da! Well, that was easier than I expected. It's a little short though....
The backstory is that we attempted to take a picture through the back of the camera (or was it the front?) so we could all appear in it. Little did we know we had actually shot a video. Voila!
I do actually have the video thing down. I made a 7-minute movie of our 4th of July weekend in Balch Lake last summer. It's on YouTube if you're interested. It's full of music and photos, tasteful transitions, and charming voice-overs by my charming husband. Oh, and fireworks! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TylpUXkGfc)
On that note, I bid you good week. ~Ellen
