Saturday Morning with Lynn

My newbiness is showing.  I had typed this whole post and then I succeeded in blowing it all away...

So once again...Another gorgeous fall morning, cool and sunny. We chugged up our hill speedily until about 3/4s of the way up when we found we could no longer really talk. We thought this might actually be a good thing, fitness-wise. But I thought I read somewhere that to really be in your zone you should still be able to hold a conversation, though barely. Well, that was good enough reason for me to slow it down!  Just a wee bit, anyway. When we got to the top we were feeling so good we didn't stop at our wall to rest, we turned left and kept going!  We found the houses with the roses and the little bulbs and Lynn thought they might be rose hips. She could be right for all I know. We always seem to find something, you may recall the $20 of a couple weeks ago. Well this time it was a baseball. We deduced it must've come from the playground across the street so I revved up to throw it back home. Several years ago I was taught how to throw like a boy from one of Sophia's softball coaches. Here was my chance to make it happen. But you know the old adage: Practice..... I was lucky to get the ball across to the other sidewalk. Then we watched it slowly rolled right into the playground! Yes!

Then Sophia and I went to CVS and I've since blown all those nice burnt calories on my favorite weakness: candycorn. Happy Halloween tomorrow.
